This is a personal space for my stories.
My name is Jasmin Ferhatović. I started my first blog almost ten years ago. At that time, I began publishing my essays and short stories on the blog, and in the meantime, I published my first two books in Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian.
My passion, besides writing, is photography. So any photos on my website will be my own work. No software edits the photos, and they are as real as they can be. My writing and photography will always be actual and something real.
Each post is a snapshot of life. Sometimes it’s a full story, sometimes just a single frame — but always something real.
This section will be a new chapter for me as I am not a journalist nor have I ever had a good sense of reporting through photography, but I will give it a try and hope it will be worth it.
The books, bookstores, and libraries were always inspirational for me, places I could go. As part of my writing and creativity, I need to say that music also played a major role in all my work, somewhere in the background.
One of the unavoidable daily moments is a black coffee in the morning, like the one shown in the photo. It seems to me that this section will have its good moments.

The stories in the English language
Sleep a lot, waking up without a clock alarm, and having a good black coffee in the morning. The air around is always full of ideas when the morning mood is peaceful.
When the sky is blue, it is time to go out for a walk and get some captures. Each day brings something new and exciting in the surroundings of my camera.
As time goes by, I am realizing that social media is not my favorite place to publish photos, so I am turning my original blog site into a photo-writing site.
Socializing had always been a great part of my life, even when social media was not as developed as it is today. I enjoy being around people, but as I get older, I am increasingly drawn to nature.
